THE WAY OF ORDERING YOUR PRESCRIPTION HAS CHANGED.

Please be aware that from Thursday 1st of February 2024 we will no longer be able to receive repeat prescription requests on our telephone answering service. This facility is being removed in the interest of Patient safety.

From this date, repeat prescriptions can be requested by using the following methods:

1.    Patients over the age of 16 can register for our online system. Please collect a registration form from the Surgery, complete and return along with two forms of ID.

2.    Patients can remove the right hand side of their prescription and hand this directly to the Pharmacist at their local Chemist so they can order for you.

3.    Patients can also bring their right hand side of their prescription to the Surgery or write a note explaining what's required, and either hand this to Reception during business hours or post in the black letterbox by the front entrance to the Surgery.

Repeat Prescriptions

pill_bottleIf you are on regular medicines you can obtain them without an appointment. The right-hand side of the prescription gives you a list of your current repeat medication; this can be used as a re-order form by ticking the items you need.

You may obtain your repeat prescription in one of the following ways:

  • Send in the right-hand side of the prescription with the items you require marked with a tick and an indication of which chemist you would like your prescription sent to OR with a self-addressed envelope and your new prescription will be posted back to you, but please allow three or four days for this.
  • Visit the surgery between 10:30 and 16:00 to hand in the right-hand side.  You may collect the prescription request yourself, or indicate your choice of chemist where you want your prescription request sent to.
  • Order online - From 17th September 2018 we no longer accept email prescription requests sent to our prescription email address or requests made via the former online My Surgery Prescription Service, any received will not be processed.

Patient Services (formerly known as Vision Online Service) is our new online ordering service enabling you to order repeat prescriptions at your convenience.  If you would like to register, please print and complete our registration form or ask for one at reception. Please note that you must be over 16 years of age to register for this service.

Return the completed form to the practice in person, along with 2 valid forms of identification, for example photo ID, passport, driving licence or birth certificate.

Once you are registered, the practice will email you the information that will enable you to create a username and password.

    • When you receive the email or letter, go to the  website on your registration letter to complete and activate your Patient Services account then you can start using the service to order your repeat prescriptions.

    • Once your Patient Services is activated you can click on the link at the top of this page to log in to order your repeat prescriptions.

Please avoid asking the doctor for repeat prescriptions during surgery consultations or during a house call.

Please try to order all items at one time for convenience and order in plenty of time so that you do not run out of your medication.
